Dr. Heather Colson grew up in the Valdosta area. She graduated
with honors from Lowndes High School and then attended Valdosta
State University where she majored in Biology and History. She was
accepted to the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in
Augusta. Upon graduation, she began working at East Central Regional
Hospital in Gracewood, Georgia as a staff dentist for
developmentally disabled patients, and in 2005, began her private
practice in Valdosta. Dr. Heather is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Southwestern District Dental Association. She is a staff dentist with South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA and has served as the Chief of Dental Services. Dr. Heather has also served as a member of the Advisory Committee for Dental Assisting for Valdosta Technical College and has volunteered with Children’s Dental Health Month. She has worked with many local health fairs and churches, providing dental exams for those less fortunate and also teaches courses at Valdosta State University. Dr. Heather is married to Geoff Hardy and attends CrossPointe Church. They have two puppies, Herbie and Red. . |

Michelle Brown has been with our practice since
2006. She is a Valdosta High School graduate and later attended
Valdosta Technical College. She graduated in 2005 as a Certified
Dental Assistant and has worked with Dr. Heather ever since. Michelle has maintained her DANB certification since graduation and routinely exceeds the necessary continuing education for her licensure. Michelle is married to Dexter Brown and has two children, Dakari and Dayja, and one puppy, Danger. |

Heather Dumas is a Registered Dental Hygenist.
Heather is a native of Waycross, Georgia and spent time as a lab
technologist before she decided to begin a career in the dental
field. She enrolled in a dual program with Valdosta State University
and Valdosta Technical College and received an Associate of Applied
Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Heather currently lives in Hahira and is married to Lloyd Dumas. They have two sons, Colby and Tanner. |

Lacie Yeager joined our team in 2010 as the Office
Manager. Lacie is a Lowndes High School graduate and is completing
her biology degree at Valdosta State University. Lacie has worked in the dental field for three years and has experience with dental assisting as well as front desk work. Lacie also runs our insurance department and can help you with all of your insurance questions. |

Alexis Newton is our most recent addition. She is a Lowndes High graduate and attended Wiregrass Technical School. Alexis is a chair side dental assistant and also maintains our sterilization department. |
